As you can see I chose to change one of the first scenes of my short to feature the individual main character, as opposed to her being carried to the room that the majority of this film is based within, this was because as I was editing i realised that throughout the rest of this film we see no other characters but the two who are trapped in the room. Thus I felt that by placing these two anonymous characters into the the beginnings of this film the tone and lonely emotion that is consistently relevant in this film would have been lost slightly had I not edited that scene.

Above you can see how I changed one of the shot techniques I used to shoot my film. I had originally hoped to film a number of shots from an aerial view in order to create a sense of an omniscient being watching over the room. Of course as I realised once on location, the ceiling prevented me from being able to get a broad enough shot of the room with the lens i had available. Instead I decided to use the longest shot I could film within the parameters of the room, this often meant getting into corners of the room at higher or lower angles which resulted in some very interesting shots for my film.

When I first began to plan this film one of the biggest things that I had hoped to create was the likeness between both the characters in the room, of course I realised that creating this effect would be difficult to achieve but once I had cast my actresses I realised that although they looked similar and the age gap was correct, they did not have the similarities I had hoped for. I chose not to focus on this and continue filming with the people I had cast, this was a good call in my opinion but did mean that certain shots had to be adapted so that this factor was not as prominent within the story as I had previously made it, however I did not want this idea to disappear completely, thus I began to use mid shots that had a depth of field to them in order to keep both characters in shot to show their similarities, but not dwell upon it long enough to have an exact meaning like the previous shot had.
