BEFORE AND AFTER OF DPS PIC EDIT WORK

In order to create an exaggerated depth of field and pull focus I used the lasso crop tool to separate the front figure from the image, I then used a motion blur effect to change the texture of the back layer, this created greater depth thus forcing the viewer's eye to look to my main character first. Connotating to them who the focus for this short film is and thus intriguing into reading what this short film is about.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD EDIT NO.1

the image i chose is shown above, currently the entire dps is is black and white, but i want to begin to add small amounts of colour to give the entire thing some flare.

three possibilities for the feature article photo, i have chosen to follow the convention of a film review article and use a snapshot from the film, i now need to decide which one is of the best quality and the most emotive to portray the film.

not sure about the lack of colour, it does suit my film, but for a magazine is not very conventional as it would not jump out or attract readers

POSTER EDIT NO.1

as you can see the poster is currently missing part, for instance the pull quote and release date, also the image is currently to dark but all these can be added or adjusted, the image itself is one that i particularly like as I feel it links well to the film but does not give much away.

Email to Record Labels

For my short film I have found two tracks by the same artist that suit the mise en scene very well. The two tracks are from different albums and either one was released on separate labels, thus I had to email both labels as you can see above.

First Edit of Film Intro

This first piece of film will become the introduction to my short film, I feel that it both gives an insight to the film, clearly showing the mise en scene of what this film will be about and leaves enough back to hold the audiences attention long enough for the height of the story line to come into play.
